NORTH PALM BEACH
Just north of Riviera Beach is North Palm Beach. Primarily a residential community, the village won an award from the National Association of Home Builders as the Best Planned Community of 1956 and is home to a Jack Nicklaus designed signature community golf course. PALM BEACH GARDENS
Palm Beach Gardens is a rapidly growing area about 20 minutes notrh of Palm Beach that is home to numerous gated/golf course communities including PGA National Resort & Spa (home of the Honda Classic PGA Golf Tournament), Ballen Isles, Old Palm, the Bear's Club (named after Jack the "Golden Bear" Nicklaus), and the Ritz Carlton Golf Club & Spa. JUNO BEACH
Juno Beach is a small Ocean-front community located on a barrier island in between Palm Beach Gardens (to the south) and Jupiter, Florida (to the north). Incorporated in 1953, Juno Beach's native history actually dates back to 500 B.C., and it's European contact dates from the sixteenth century A.D. JUPITER/TEQUESTA
Palm Beach County's northernmost towns of Jupiter & Tequesta are the spring-training home for both the Florida Marlins and the St. Louis Cardinals baseball teams. The world famous Scripps Research Institute of LaJolla, California recently established it's east coast headquarters in Jupiter. One of the world's largest biomedical research organizations, Scripps is expected to add 6500 new jobs to Florida over the next 15 years. Jupiter is also known for the historic Jupiter Lighthouse, at the entrance to Jupiter Inlet, that served as a guide to American sailors beginning in 1860.
